What kind of personal data do we collect about you
S Group employer companies, such as the cooperatives and SOK, will only process information about our employees that is necessary in order to take care of their employment relationship, such as your contact details, social security code, bank details and information on your emergency contact person.
If you are ill, we will also process your health information. Your health information will only be visible to employees whose job descriptions include the processing of such information.
As a general rule, we collect the same information about our minor employees as about adults. The Young Workers’ Act obligates us to keep separate records of our minors employees.
The personal data is usually provided by you when you apply for an open position, are selected for the job or work for us. As a rule, we can obtain information concerning you from elsewhere based on your consent only.
For which purposes do we use your personal data
Employee data is used for the management of employment relationships, such as shift planning, salary payments, reporting income to the Tax Administration or preparing references.
We also use various applications, such as communications tools or access control applications, and need your personal data in connection with them.
Who processes your personal data
Your personal data will only be processed by employees of the S Group and our service providers who are specifically tasked with the processing of personal data.
We always process your personal data with care, maintaining good data processing practices. We never disclose any information about your employment relationship to any third parties, not even after the termination of your employment.
How do you exercise your rights
You have the right to request for review and to receive a copy of the personal data we have collected. You can view your personal data directly from the HR system yourself. You can view personal data in other systems by contacting your employer company’s HR unit. You also have the right to rectify your data if you notice errors or defects.
In certain situations, you may request that your data be deleted, but we cannot delete any data that we must retain by law. For more information on the storage periods of personal data, please contact your employer company.
