In S Group, we use cookies on our website and identifiers in our mobile services. We do not use all the cookies listed in this document on each S Group website. What are cookies and what are cookies and identifiers used for?

A cookie is a small text file that the browser stores on the user’s terminal device when using websites. Cookies contain a unique identifier that allows us to identify and count the various browsers visiting our website.We also use cookie-like technology (local storage) and tracking codes (such as pixels) to store similar identifiers. To improve the usability of our sites, we may conduct short-term surveys where we may also store information about the user’s mouse movements and clicks on a particular page.We use cookies to provide more personalised services. For example, cookies enable our chat features to work, and we can recommend products that may be of interest to users.We use cookies and identifiers to target advertising and marketing. For example, in our partners’ networks, the user may be shown advertisements for products that they have browsed in our online store.We also use cookies and identifiers that are deemed essential. With these cookies, we implement the services requested by the user, such as logging in and making online purchases and bookings, remember the user’s preferences such as language and preferences regarding the use of cookies, and ensure secure transactions.The user cannot be identified directly by means of cookies in S Group’s services. If the user logs in to our service, we may link the digital footprint data collected through cookies to the identified user in accordance with the data protection legislation.From time to time, our websites contain our partners’ tracking codes that are downloaded from their servers. Tracking codes are used for advertising and marketing, and they help us develop statistics on how often an ad is clicked and how often it leads to a purchase on our or the advertiser’s website.Third-party cookies may track the user over S Group’s websites and monitor their online behaviour beyond S Group’s websites. The user can control the use of these cookies on S Group’s websites through their cookie preferences.Examples of third-party cookies we use include Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies which enable website analytics and the use of Google Ireland Ltd’s advertising tools. The user can object to the use of Google’s advertising tools in Google’s advertising settings and prevent the use of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics browser add-on in their browser. Managing cookies and identifiers

S Group allows the user to manage cookies and identifiers.Through the cookie consent query, the user can determine the purposes for which they allow cookies and identifiers to be used and change their cookie preferences, such as withdrawing their previous consent to the use of cookies and identifiers. The cookie consent query can be opened by clicking on “change your cookie settings” or a similar link on the website.However, cookies that are necessary for the operation of our services are enabled by default and cannot be disabled.The digital footprint of the user logged in collected to the co-op and customer register can be inspected at any time by logging in to the S user account.
